WE’RE INCORPORATED

Thursday evening The Forge Institute was officially incorporated and is now formally recognised as an incorporated Not-for-Profit association.  

As part of TFI's inaugural meeting our Association Rules were accepted and Office bearing roles & Ordinary member roles appointed:

Our members range from 13 year old peer of Ivy, Grace, who is taking on the mantle of Lead Youth Ambassador, through to Patch Primary School Vice Principal Aleesha,  who is leading our Education Ambassador program as well as Child Safety Officer.  We have significant hills community members like Ren  & Marina in office bearing roles, Communications & Marketing support through Liam with Em supporting, and Shayla as your Youth Advisory Delegate, which will serve as an office bearing role specifically as means to provide a link between core management and youth ambassadors. 

Over the coming few weeks we will be holding sounding boards directly with youth to discuss what people want to learn or participate in, as well as pushing to have a selection of workshops available over the Christmas holiday period.  

Yesterday, I got the website designed and online, which is still somewhat basic at the moment but will, for now, serve as a platform for most consistent updates.

In other news, FEVER DREAM vol.1 is approaching finality, which will become The Forge Institute's voice of members, and platform from which Professional artists and youth are published hand in hand.  Applications to submit work are still open for the first publication - and can be made here https://dhqx73rzwrc.typeform.com/to/RrtYbV8p 

Crowd funding and donations are still actively being sought - we now have some more tangible financial goals for the first steps of forming physical space for TFI, there will be updates and information on these in the coming weeks as quotes are confirmed and plans are locked in.
