PARTNERSHIP
We’ve launched, we’re good to go, things are happening… Now we have the space to sit and breathe a little and start our active outreach to the community.
We’ve already had a huge amount of support, whether in-kind, offerings of space, mentoring, teaching, or financial support from so many. All of this has made it possible for me personally to push forward things that need pushing, or fund basic structural setups like this website, our merchandising, the FEVERDREAM magazines, or our insurances.
What we really need now is to push ourselves up a rung into the space of real impact - partners, philanthropists, local government support. Those spaces, while not something I wish TFI to rely on permanently (If we are going to be a successful Social Enterprise, TFI must be a viable business of its own accord and not solely reliant on grants and external forms of funding), they are critical right now in helping us “plant the flag” so to speak.
We’ve had several meetings with key local officials, agencies and consultants who we’ve approached to help us make sure we do everything as best we can (finding the most appropriate grants, looking into local community spaces, getting our ACNC registrations done with every i dotted and t crossed), but ideally we are hoping to push our support reach out even further.

It’s an evolving document, but it is our most concise, up-to-date document that covers off on why The Forge Institute is here, why it’s needed, our milestones, ambitions, and possibilities of how we could partner with people. If you, or someone you know may be interested in helping TFI go out of the “rent-a-space” realm and into the Institution realm, it would be so helpful if you share this link.
It’s a turbulent time of year for most people - we’re not expecting huge progress or change on much at all right now - but every little boost, or step, or conversation we have or new person we reach is still something that could be pivotal in the overall success of TFI.
